The Whole Boat

Hiring the entire Battersea Barge provides a truly unique London event experience, offering complete access to all decks and spaces on this iconic riverside barge. Ideal for large scale celebrations, corporate functions, weddings and private parties, whole venue hire allows organisers to take full advantage of the Lower Deck performance area, the Middle Deck indoor space, the East Deck outdoors and the partially covered Terrace. This flexibility makes it possible to combine live music, seated dining, standing receptions and social areas within a single seamless event. Each deck brings its own character, from the intimate, atmospheric Lower Deck suited to performances and cabaret, to the bright and airy Middle Deck for dining and presentations, and the East Deck and Terrace for outdoor receptions with panoramic Thames views. Whole venue hire also includes access to a fully licensed bar and adaptable catering options, accommodating a wide range of menus including seasonal British dishes, sharing platters, vegan, gluten free and halal options. Event planners benefit from the expertise of the on site events team, who provide guidance on layout, lighting, sound, and flow, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable experience. As a floating venue in Battersea, the barge offers a distinctive backdrop for photographs, a relaxed riverside atmosphere and excellent transport links across London. Whether you are planning a corporate conference, a ticketed live performance, a milestone birthday or a wedding reception, hiring the whole venue allows maximum flexibility and privacy, giving guests the full immersive experience of this one of a kind Thames location.
