Founded in 1986, the theatre is one of the landmark venues on the London fringe circuit, with a long-standing reputation for supporting emerging and established artists alike. Ideally located on Camden High Street, the venue sits in one of London’s busiest cultural, tourist, and shopping districts and is just 75 metres from Camden Town Underground Station, making it exceptionally accessible for performers and audiences. The Lower Deck

The inside Lower Deck, offering high ceilings and fantastic views of Parliament, may be privately hired for events until 1 am. You must must have a minimum of 70 guests for a Friday or Saturday night (50 plus guests on all other days or daytimes) but may invite more as you still have access to the rest of the vessel which has a kitchen and a fully stocked bar. Alternatively should you have a generous prepaid budget you could opt for the Lower Deck plus the West-Facing Deck or Outside Stage Deck. Please note hire fees and minimum spends change depending on the day/time of your event. Pls note we are constantly doing refurbishment so images/furniture may change. This is the most popular option for larger parties and can be hired for £285 on a Saturday evening, £235 on a Thursday (peak) or Friday evening. Alternatively, we can waive this for a £2,500 minimum spend/budget. If you have a budget/spend in mind, we can suggest our most suitable option. Please note that minimum spends differ depending on the time and day.
